2. can this be purchase as base corner 1-drawer cabinet (to use as pull out trash can unit)?

1. I don’t believe Conestoga will release this cabinet preconfigured for inset, but if you’re feeling adventurous, you could order loose drawer fronts and try and make them fit as an inset configuration.
2. I’m not sure which cabinet you are referring to – you could put a trash pullout in either the BCFD or BSC cabinet, but not any of the Base pie cut designs – perhaps I’m misunderstanding your question – have a great day!

Glad to help, Tony! It was a pretty impressive cabinet to build. Well-engineered and functioned great except for the missing dowels and the goofy wide railed drawer fronts Conetoga sent (you can see them in the video. We did not order that, was some sort of a mistake hinged to this cabinet). Sorry the video was so long, it was just a beast of a cabinet to shoot! Take care up there in Mass. I here your state is getting hit hard by COVID.
