It's a glorious day here at Cabinet Joint. My name's Justin, and in today's video, I'm going to be talking about the features and benefits of our base angle end cabinet.

So, as you know from our catalog, we offer a plethora of custom cabinet options for your kitchen, whether that's interior storage, different cabinet styles, as well as different cabinet types. And one of those options that you need to think about when you're designing your kitchen is how you will end your cabinet run.

Typically, the end of your cabinet run will have a square cabinet with some sort of flush or finished end. But if you'd rather have a softer edge for your run, you can utilize this base angle end cabinet that you see here.

We see this often used when the end of your cabinet run is going into a larger open space. We also see it in your peninsula or your island to be able to once again just create a softer edge, a softer corner for your kitchen. And then functionally, we've also seen this cabinet utilized in order to be able to give a swinging door more space to open as well.

Be making sure you're talking to your cabinet coach to see if this is the right option for you in your kitchen.

Some things to consider as you are planning out your design in your kitchen is that this cabinet is fixed at a 45° angle. You can't change that angle at all. This is also configured with a full door. You cannot put a drawer in this cabinet.

Talking about doors, you can design them however you want. You can hinge them where they are both on the right side, like this cabinet is here. You can hinge them where they are on both of the outside or the inside. However you want to put your hinges, you are able to do that.

And this cabinet is available both in inset and overlay, with the only difference just being your hardware.

Then, to maximize the space of this cabinet, there are shelves that will be placed in here. I don't have them in here, but you can use your imagination.

Then, as far as measurements go, this cabinet is fixed at 24" deep and 24" wide. So, if for whatever reason you have a shallow base cabinet or a super deep base cabinet next to it, this might not be the best option for you. But that 24" is standard with your base cabinets.

These can be made anywhere between 31½" to 42" in ¹⁄₁₆" increments.

In terms of angled cabinets, we do offer some other options as well, both for base cabinets as well as wall cabinets. If you want to soften your run, you can talk to your cabinet coach to see what is the best option for you.

But as always, if you have any questions, reach out to your cabinet coach, or you can call us at 888-211-6482.

Thank you for watching. Have a great day.
