It's a glorious day here at Cabinet Joint. I'm Justin, and in today's video, I'm going to be talking about the features and benefits of a prep-full store side option for your cabinets.
That's what you're looking at here. This is an end panel that will be installed on site, not here in the shop, but by the customer. But you can imagine as I'm holding this up, it will look like this, as well as having doors and a drawer front here.
Now, all of this is just false. This is a fake panel, a decorative panel because when you get to the end of the run of your cabinets, you need to have something to cap that off.
And there's a couple of different options. You can do a flush end with any of our paints, as well as our standard wood species, or you can do an end skin if it's a white oak or walnut or a different type of species. Or you can also do an end panel.
And what makes this option so great is that what it does is it moves the cabinet side closer into the interior of your cabinet and then allowing a ¾" space for your end panel to fit seamlessly.
And it does that without extending this stile at all. So, you still get your inch-and-a-half stile on the front while then being able to put and butt in your end panel here at the very end.
This option is only available in overlay because you are losing some of that interior space between the front of the frame, as well as the cabinet side.
You can no longer then fit your brackets that you need for your inset hardware, allowing that space for your end panel to fit in like so.
So, this is an overlay option only. You're going to be utilizing this when it comes to the end of your cabinet run. Also, very commonly found on the sides of your island, really anywhere that there's going to be an exposed side in your kitchen.
Like I mentioned, there's end skins, as well as flush ends that we offer. Be making sure that you're talking to your cabinet coach to make sure that you get the right fit for your kitchen.
Assembly will be the exact same. The only difference is that installing your drawer glides will be a little bit different, but we have a video in our description for that.
Your cabinet coach is going to be with you through the design, the assembly, and the installation.
So, as always, if you have any questions, feel free to reach out to your cabinet coach, or you can always call us at 888-211-6482.
Thanks for watching. Have a great day.
