This spacious kitchen is a beautiful blend of modern style and comforting charm–perfect for cooking, sipping coffee, and gathering with loved ones.

2 – A White Oak Dream
Los Angeles, California

Step into Ed’s Los Angeles kitchen, where sleek design and practicality take center stage. Every detail of this space is designed with purpose, from the layout to the integration of materials. Soft, natural wood tones set the scene, complemented by slab countertops, stainless steel appliances, and industrial-style light fixtures.
“The vision for this kitchen project was warmth and functionality,” Ed shared. When asked why he chose Cabinet Joint, he said, “Cabinet Joint offered us as much customization as we needed.” He continued, “Cabinet Joint was exceptional with communicating options and materials.” His favorite part of the process? “Seeing everything come to life from 2D to installation.”

3 – Mediterranean Retreat @angela.rhoton
Santa Rosa Beach, Florida

Angela’s kitchen is all about thoughtful design and custom touches! Her space includes a floor-to-ceiling cabinet wall with an integrated fridge and abundant storage. On the range wall, she chose to skip upper cabinets, instead featuring a gorgeous honed quartzite backsplash that flows seamlessly from the countertop.
“When we moved into our Mediterranean-style home, […] we envisioned transforming it into a space that felt modern, light, open, and practical while preserving its original character.” She continued, “I knew I wanted inset cabinets, and with the kitchen’s unique layout, we needed customizable cabinet sizes to achieve the look we wanted. When I found Cabinet Joint, I realized we could get high-quality inset cabinets at a much more affordable price than from our local cabinet makers, with options to customize not only the size but also the color.”

Alisa Goldsmith brought a touch of the West Coast to her Maryland home, opting for a clean and contemporary “California modern” kitchen style with stunning Rift Cut White Oak. Her island, which seats 8+, is the perfect spot for hosting friends and family. Equally impressive is the walk-in pantry, showcasing custom two-toned cabinets that make a statement! This pantry offers ample storage for everyday essentials while complementing the modern aesthetic of the space.
“I wanted a clean and contemporary vibe,” Alisa said. “All of the pictures I kept loving were that rift cut white oak look,” she continued, “I found it impossible to find the look I wanted in any [other] cabinet lines that weren’t […] extremely pricey.” She added, “It was so fun to get to show off the kitchen after so much construction!”

5 – Seaside Elegance @saltyeastcoast

Sandy’s kitchen is a breath of fresh air! Her soft blue cabinets bring a splash of color to this charming coastal space. Designed to maximize storage, Sandy’s kitchen includes sturdy dish drawers, a custom microwave cabinet, and a spacious walk-in pantry. From cookware to groceries, every item has its place in Sandy’s kitchen, making it both practical and picturesque!
“I have always wanted inset cabinets,” Sandy shared. She priced out her remodel with a couple of local contractors, but both came with hefty price tags. Sandy continued, “I passed on them and went back to a name that kept coming up when I searched for inset cabinets—Cabinet Joint.” Sandy worked closely with her Cabinet Coach and a Cabinet Joint designer to create her dream layout, and the results speak for themselves! “My design pro and cabinet coach were super,” Sandy said. “The design pro listened carefully to my thoughts and captured what I wanted.”

6 – Victorian Farmhouse Revival @avrinell520
Bruce Township, Michigan

Danielle and Matt’s kitchen is a tribute to their Victorian farmhouse’s rich history. The space incorporates thoughtful nods to the past, from original trim replicated by Amish craftsmen to custom cabinetry that seamlessly blends with the home’s architecture. Modern updates include two islands (yes, two!), a coffee bar, and clever storage solutions like cabinets framing the mudroom entryway.
Danielle shared, “Our goal was to give this home a timeless kitchen that did the original home justice. […] Our cabinets needed to have the inset features that were just as timeless, and the color and style needed to be seamlessly tied into […] the rest of the house.” Maximizing storage and optimizing space were top priorities for Danielle. She added, “Cabinet Joint and I worked with every available inch of wall we could, to create a design that worked with my windows but also gave me lots of storage. For example, bringing cabinets from my fridge over my entry mudroom to the far wall, created such a unique feature and depth to the design while also giving us needed extra storage space.”

Julie had a clear vision when it came to creating her dream kitchen. She paired creamy white cabinets with a rich, deep brown island for a look that’s both elegant and timeless. Our favorite feature is the kitchen island, which serves as both a functional centerpiece and a cozy gathering spot. Built-in banquette seating replaces the need for a separate breakfast table, offering a charming nook for family meals.
Julie shared, “This kitchen is not only the heart of my home, but also a beautiful, spacious statement piece that seamlessly combines functionality with elegance.” We couldn’t have said it better! Julie continued, “The kitchen island is a true centerpiece, featuring built-in banquette seating that thoughtfully replaces the need for a separate breakfast table. This cozy nook invites family gatherings and casual meals, blending convenience with charm.”

Charleston, South Carolina

Shannon and Jake’s kitchen is a true showstopper, featuring eye-catching design elements such as two-toned cabinets, open shelving, and a stunning backsplash that ties the room together. Practicality is key in their spacious walk-in pantry, which features built-in cabinets that keep their kiddo’s snacks neatly organized. This thoughtful addition helps keep their kitchen clutter-free.
The couple shared, “When we were building our new home, we really wanted to step away from all white cabinets and ‘warm’ up the space more [by] incorporating some white oak.” When asked about their favorite kitchen features, they highlighted, “Inset cabinets, the beautiful white oak, and the walk-in pantry with built-in cabinets.”

When Michele and Kris set out to design their dream kitchen, they envisioned a space that seamlessly blended functionality for their bustling family of five with timeless style. Their New York kitchen is a true testament to thoughtful design and versatility, featuring practical solutions tailored to their daily needs. At the heart of their kitchen is an all drawer island, with deep drawers perfect for storing everything from water bottles to pots and pans. Just steps away, the walk-in pantry provides ample storage and features a peaceful coffee nook where Michele and Kris can enjoy a quiet moment amidst their busy routines.
As Michele explained, “We needed to maximize on aesthetic and functionality but didn’t want to sacrifice quality! Cabinet Joint came across our Instagram feed, and it seemed to be a win—aesthetic and functionality with cost savings for us to build cabinets ourselves.”

Last but certainly not least… @AlisaRitterDesign and her Coastal Cottage! This stunning kitchen has claimed the top spot, earning lots of love from our followers and the title of Kitchen of the Year. From the crisp white cabinets to the beautifully crafted custom island legs, Alisa’s kitchen really does have it all! Every detail works in harmony, making it the perfect space for daily life, hosting friends, and everything in between!
Alisa shared, “I was going for a coastal cottage vibe and knew I wanted inset cabinets to pull this off! The goal was for the space to be beautiful but also relaxed and functional for our family.” She added, “We decided to use Cabinet Joint for multiple reasons: inset cabinets, several finish options, custom sizes, quality materials and price were some of our top reasons.” Alisa continued, “Unlike some other cabinet companies, Cabinet Joint had truly custom sizes. This allowed us to have more flexibility in our layout to best fit our space.”
