Sample Finish Blocks
Sample blocks are a great way to see color options before buying a full kitchen. These blocks are large, 14 x 6 pieces of solid wood with profiling to hold any glaze. They are finished to order to ensure color accuracy.
Standard species finish sample blocks are $25 and will ship approximately 5-8 business days after payment. Standard includes Alder, Cherry, Hickory, Walnut, Maple, Oak, and Colourtone samples. We highly recommend all Walnut and White Oak samples ordered as doors (please discuss this with your Cabinet Coach before ordering)
Specialty species (species not listed above or knotty/rift cut/quartersawn) must be ordered as slab drawer fronts – cost is approximately $25 depending on species/finish and will ship approximately 2 weeks after payment.
Prism finish sample blocks are $65 each and will ship approximately 3-3.5 weeks after payment (due to their custom finish, they can not be expedited)
Sample kits contain an assortment of popular color combinations on a given species. Several Kits are available, please make your selection in the form below. You can see what samples each kit contains here. Kits are $80 and contain 20-30 individual 4 x 6 color blocks. We also offer a color swatch kit containing paper paint samples of all the Prism Sherwin Williams color matches. This fan deck costs $40.
Sample doors generally range between $55-95, depending on door design and finish (if any). All sample doors are 12 x 15 and are built to order to your specifications, not stocked.
Standard finish sample door(s) will ship approximately 2 weeks after payment.
Prism finish sample doors(s) have a $45 custom paint upcharge each and will ship approximately 3-3.5 weeks after payment.
Sample costs include shipping to anywhere in the continental USA – Canadian shipments will be more due to increased shipping/border crossing costs. Sample fees are credited back to you once your full project is complete (expedite fees are not credited). The amount of the credit depends on the size of the job, up to 2% of the order’s value will be credited for door/block samples. This in mind, we recommend getting your job quoted before placing a sample door order.
