Some of the frequently asked questions we get here at Cabinet Joint:
Why can’t I place an order for Custom products online?
Our custom cabinetry is made to order and includes a wide range of options, finishes, and configurations — which makes online pricing complex and error-prone. By reviewing quotes individually, we can ensure accuracy, confirm compatibility, and help you avoid costly mistakes. Custom orders are reviewed by you and our team before being submitted for production.
How long does it take to receive confirmation on a Custom order?
Typically within 24 hours. If any details need clarification before the order is entered, we’ll contact you to keep things moving smoothly.
Do you sell directly to homeowners?
Absolutely. Homeowners make up the majority of our customers, and we love helping people create custom cabinetry that exceeds what they’d find in a big-box store — while saving thousands.
That said, since our products are built-to-order, customers should have a basic understanding of cabinetry measurements, assembly and installation. You’ll need to carefully review and approve all order details before production begins, as custom items can’t be returned.
Do you offer live technical support for Ready-to-Assemble (RTA) products?
Yes. Our team is made up of cabinet specialists who know the products inside and out. If you have a question or run into a challenge, we’re happy to help — even after hours when possible. If we miss your call, just leave a message and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.
Do you provide design services or guidance?
We do! Our Design Team can help you plan your kitchen from start to finish or review an existing design for accuracy. We’ll double-check for potential issues such as door and drawer clearances, finished ends, and interior finishes.

Can I order doors based on cabinet openings?
No — doors must be quoted and ordered by their actual finished sizes. If you only have cabinet or opening dimensions, please refer to our How to Measure Your Doors guide before submitting your quote.
Can I get a sample of my door or finish?
Of course! You can order sample kits, sample blocks, or full sample doors here.
Sample costs are credited back to your order, for up to 2% of the order total. Because every sample is custom-made, please include all of the same details you’d specify for your final product.
Why do I need to pay 100% in advance?
All of our products are built specifically for you, so once your order is released to production, it can’t be resold or restocked. Collecting payment upfront is standard practice across the custom cabinetry industry (even at big-box stores) and ensures your order can move quickly into production.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, check, or wire transfer.
