My name is John Matthews, I live in Michigan on the west side of the state. I was born in Detroit and have lived almost all my life in Michigan. Fun fact, I am half Canadian and a dual citizen! Prior to working at Cabinet Joint, my background has been in architecture, facility and project management, and most recently, working with home owners on their foundations, crawlspaces, and summer homes to repair them. My passion for building and designing homes started as a young kid helping my dad with projects around our home. I love to spend time with my family on our boat, road trips, and being outdoors. I enjoy golfing, hockey, hunting and fishing as often as I am able. My wife and I enjoy helping in our community when we aren’t spending time with our two children. I look forward to working with our clients to help them design and make their dream kitchens and cabinet ideas come to life!
